Adam's Complete Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher Kit!

Just got this Kit from Adam's site... and i was wondering how I should apply this on my car?

should I do in in sections? meaning do it to a small section of the car all 4 steps at a time? or do it in small sections of the car but do the whole car with one product then the next and next ect.?

also this will be my first time using any of Adam's products... anyone have any reviews? i notice autogeek doesnt sell any of his products.

Send it back cause those 7.5" pads they usually send with those kits are useless on a PC..buy a kit that has 5.5" pads with the PC they have them here at Autogeek or get a kit that has the MF pad kit bundle in 5.5" all the stuff they sell can usually be found on Chemical Guys for cheaper

do small sections at a time doing whole car then move to next step..its going to take alot of extra effort with those 7" pads..I say make an order for some 5.5" low profile Lake Country Hydrotech pads they will make things alot easier for you keeping that PC spinning

I'm not an expert on forum rules, but I believe you may have broken the one about posting links to competitors sites

Why bring your questions here when Adams has a forum?

Just to help us improve our service... can you tell us why you chose to purchase from Adams site instead of our site? Maybe we're missing something?

Adam is a good and long time friend of mine, he's a good guy.

If you're going to buff out your ENTIRE car from start to finish in one day then,

    1. Start early it will take you all day

    2. Wash and dry car, clay if needed

    3. Divide each panel into small sections, about 20" squarish or so, don't try to buff a 2' x 2" section like most directions state as that's too large.

    4. Do a Test Spot first, that is test out your "system" to one small section and make sure your getting the results you want before you buff out the entire car.

    5. Buff one section for about 6-8 Section Passes, then wipe off the residue and inspect.

    6. Once you prove your system then buff out the rest of the car section by section, panel by panel starting at the top and working your way down.

I cover all of this in my new book no matter whose products you're using.

Re: Adam's Complete Porter Cable 7424XP Polisher Kit!

If a person were to purchase something from Autogeek.net and then go to Adam's forum to ask questions, I'm confident the forum members, Mods and Admin would be professional and courteous...

I have not looked through the OP's posting history yet but he has a dozen or so posts to our forum. So they are either genuinely seeking help for their purchase or they are here for other reasons.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt till they give me a reason to think otherwise...
