Hopefully Yance can get to the GoPro footage taken from this project sometime in the future as it captured then entire process from start to beginning.

What speed setting are you guys using with the Trizact 1500 and the 3000 on the DA.
Keep in mind that the Trizact 1500 Clear Coat Sanding Disc (which is identical to the Meguiar's 1500 sanding disc except for color) is different than from the Trizact 3000 and 5000 discs in that the former is a sanding disc and the latter two are finishing discs.
The 1500 sanding disc is going to cut much faster than the finishing discs, and from experience, I have come to find that 3 is the best speed to run them at.
The finishing discs, on the other hand, work best at speed 4.
At this very moment I'm preparing to do some damp sanding of my own with these very same discs. Just finished getting everything taped off...

mike can u point me to a walktrough on the correct way of wet sanding and how to choose the correct paper? did a search for it but did not found something solid as youre postings are.
