Re: Help with my technique -- side panels

My suggestion is removing extra products with a mf cloth once your primed the pad. I don't know what pad you are using but kompressor pad often splashes to me.

Re: Testing Rupes Bigfoot LHR 21ES With M205

I use Flex more often than rupes. Its just my style. I won't say one is better than the other. Both polishers have their own intention. I never done comparison in time trial or finishing quality. But...

    Re: lake country pads ?

For light to moderate swirl I would recommend sonax perfect finish with white or tangerine pad. Really great result in one step.

    Re: Need help with wheels

Iron x may be your best bet on non coated wheel. I've just wash a crazy baked clearcoated wheel that took me 4times 1:3 wheelbrigther to clean it. People don't wash car these days lol

Re: First time with the DA, had some issues

Towel method doesnt work on true DA polisher. Don't waste money on M105 for now. You'll only get more frustrating with M105 as a beginner. From my point of view, I think you used too much product...

Re: minor swirl 'correction' then protect

According to Todd Cooperider's review, black light can be used as AIO. So you might able to get away with UC then AIO. You never know before you try.

Re: What's the difference between these two?

Since you mention 3M product, I assume you use rotary buffer but UC is intended for DA and hand application only. So be sure to do a test spot.
