    Need help with wheels

    1. I have a client who has Mickey Thompson wheels that are not clear coated and have caked on residue that laughs at APC.

    2. His other car has standard clear coated wheels that have never been washed since he owned it and they too laugh at any wheel cleaner I throw at them. Surprisingly the clear coat is not damaged and are in very good shape expect the dust thats embedded in the corners of the wheels.

Whats the preferred method for these types of issues?

What are you using? You probably need some sort of Iron dissolving cleaner.

Iron x may be your best bet on non coated wheel. I've just wash a crazy baked clearcoated wheel that took me 4times 1:3 wheelbrigther to clean it. People don't wash car these days lol

Good info guys, I added iron-X to my cart, hope to have it sometime this week to try out.

After Iron-X what else should I throw at it? Wheel Brightener?

Iron X (there are cheaper alternatives) should remove all of the brake dust. Anything left is probably grease based and will need an APC.
