Honda Insight: Meguiar’s/Menzerna Makeover

A friend of my wife’s was asking questions on paint care and brought up the yellow dots stuck to her white Honda. After discussing with her that it was not a problem to remove arrangements were made to have the paint taken care of.

Contaminated white paint can be a joy to work on as you can often see the contaminates on the paint. Not to mention seeing the reaction take place when an iron remover is doing its job. Always makes for nice pictures.

Tools/Products/Process:
Wheels/Tires with Meguiar’s D143 All Wheel & Tire
Fender wells Meguiar’s D101 Green APC
Wheels double shot CarPro Trix/IronX
Paint washed with Meguiar’s D110 Hyperwash
Paint decontaminated with a double shot Trix/IronX
Clayed Meguiar’s D155 Last Touch/C2000 Blue Mild clay

Polished with Flex 3401, White Hybrid, & Menzerna 3n1 AIO
Added wipedown with Menzerna Endless Shine QD
Wheels prepped with Meguiar’s D115 RFEW&W
Tires dressed with Meguiar’s Hot Shine Tire Gel
