2010 Mustang Covered in C.A.R. Products Bulletproof Coating

Today’s Detail is a 2010 Ford Mustang. This car has spent all of its time outside and has been through the car wash tunnel (both touchless and conventional) more times than the owner could remember. As a result, there were many swirls, scuffs, and scratches. The owner wanted to bring back some clarity to the paint as well as make it shine again so he opted for our Bronze Package with the C.A.R. Products Bulletproof Coating Upgrade. The coating provides 2 years of waxless protection and easy maintenance, as well as, incredible gloss.

    Time – 12 Hours

    Process:
    Tires/Wheels:
Tires – Sprayed with Meguiar’s non-acid wheel and tire cleaner (3:1) and agitated with Mothers wheel Brush

Wheel Wells – Sprayed with Meguiars APC (8:1) and agitated with Long Handle Wheel Brush
    Rinsed with Pressure Washer

Let dwell for 10 Minutes while filling wash buckets
2 Bucket washed with Chemical Guys Citrus Red and a Gold Chenille Wash Mitt
    Rinsed with Pressure Washer

Clayed with Griots Garage Clay and Optimum no rinse as lube (3:1)

From NASTY to NICE! in 12 hours. Very good turnaround!
Did the owner recognize the car when he came to pick it up?

Is it in poor taste to ask how much did that cost the customer?

Thank You! He was very excited to have his car back to looking like it did when he bought it. He bought it new in 2010, and did HIS best to take care of it.

Thank You! I've started writing my details up like this to add them to my website so my customers see just how much care and work goes into not only the detail itself, but also product selection.

Not sure if it is or not, but this was $450. I discounted the coating because i was anxious to try it

Thank You! I was given the opportunity to try the first batch from Andrew Cahill of C.A.R Products.

This Coating was amazingly easy to apply and with multiple layers has a nice filling ability as well.

Amazing turnaround, that was beaten but you worked every step towards improving it to the high standard you posed at the end.

    Congratulations on that,

    Thanks for Sharing.

Looks like a completely different car. It's as if you sprayed a new layer of white paint on it. Well done sir!!
