No, he just ran out of stuff to do... (We have a small lot)
Frankly I'm starting to think its willful ignorance. The guy isn't stupid, he's just trying to justify his 40 a week!?!? :face_palm:
The good news is there are two (soon to be three) shining examples in my driveway, evidence that the methods and tools I have garnered here ARE effective, are NOT a "glaze over" and really DO work as advertised.
I've been working here 10 years, I can hold out six more months to further prove my point before I start insisting that we invest in some of this "new tech", like grit guards, microfibers and the like..
The boss still has that Firehawk, it'll be a good example too. But I ain't doin it for nuttin.

UPDATE!!
Didn't take but a few days in a row of pretty weather and the Solstice found itself a home.... Just thought I'd let you all know!

Congratulations to you for your paint-correcting the Solstice
to AutoGeekian (which is now your) standards...
Congratulations to the new owner(s) for the purchasing of a fine
example of a vehicle all polished-up and ready to: Slip, slip away!

Congratulations on the sale! Hopefully she is with a family that have better car washing techniques than your dealership detailed.

Did ya inform the new owners proper wash technique to prevent marring and swirls or just hand them your card if they need it taken care of with a link to this thread?

No, I wasn't the salesman on that one.... But the new owners did seem particularly picky and did comment that "we've looked at several, but none were this clean."
It was a proud moment for me, even listening from the sidelines... Wonder how long the Collinite will last em?

Re: Swirled out Solstice
So, kind of an update:
I bagged so much on our dealerships resident detail guy, but I want to take a moment to point out what he IS good at:
Before-
After-
I'd be even more proud if there wasn't a certain 3M Imperial glaze involved....
I see swirls everywhere!!!
