Alas...Pictures can be so deceiving!
I use 3M IHG a lot of times...but not to cover-up holograms.

BINGO!!!
I watched the process this time (he clocked over 20 hours on this detail, from start to finish) and there's only a few things I'd do different, really... To put it another way:
He is an absolute expert at the technique, it's just that the techniques haven't been updated in quite a few years. There's no microfibers, no claying and his random orbital is the size of a carry on bag!
Truthfully he seemed to finish out great with the rotary, he just "always glazes it cause you can sometimes see lil pigtails in the sunlight"
My idea has been to get him to ask to try my DA.. I think I've got his boss convinced that the Meg's Microfiber correction system would save him some time AND would allow him to finish out swirl/ hologram free without having to glaze it..
Unfortunately I am having zero luck convincing them to consider grit guards, microfiber wash mitts, waffle weave towels or anything else that might prevent the swirls from being re-introduced... So I'm not positive that getting them onboard with the DA first is the best course of action...
:frustrated:
I see swirls everywhere!!!
