Is that a McColloch steamer in that one picture? If so how does it work for you? I've been looking at getting one of those. Nice job on the interior but to me the exterior always looks worse when applying a sealant over severe paint neglect. Tell your buddy to loosen up on those pennies and pay you to do that paint some real justice. I am not disrespecting your work, maybe a wax would have been a better choice to hide some of the paint damage.

Yeah it is a McColloch steamer in one of the pics. It's a nice little machine for the money. It takes some time for it to heat up but it works pretty well.

I wanted to test out the wolfgang sealant on it and see how it came out. I typically do a wax for cars with this many scratches, but again just testing things out. It did make the defects in the paint stand out a lot more. But I also did this detail for no charge (he gave me a futon for it). He typically goes to another detailer so I wanted to make the paint really pop with the sealant. Which the good parts of the paint look awesome, but it makes the scratches stand out. I'm working on getting him to let me correct the paint, but I'm not sure if he's going to go for it.

You should have done a test spot for him
