Hammered Black G6
Here’s another vehicle brought to me with hammered black paintwork.
Typical hard GM clear from this mfg build date time period
Products/Process
Rinse
Surf City Grime Destroyer – Pre treatment for all exterior – Applied via pesticide pump sprayer
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss – Applied via foam cannon
While foam was dwelling wheels were cleansed with:
Surf City Beyond Steel
Laitner brush via drill
Entire vehicle pressure washed
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss – Applied via foam cannon
Dwell
Entire vehicle pressure washed
Surf City Pacific Blue wash via two bucket wash method
Pressure washed
Water blown from vehicle surfaces and cracks/crevices via blower
Paintwork was clayed to remove imbedded contaminants using Danase Medium Clay
Meguiars 105 compound via Makita 9227 and 6.5” LC Purple foamed wool
Started and maintained at 1200 RPM for approx 10-13 seconds
I experimented with the 105 on the pad and on the paint – I found that it worked better on the paint.
Menzerna SIP via Makita 9227 and 6” Sonus SFX white pad using
prep sol wipe down
Menzerna 85rd via Makita 9227 and 5” LC CCS Black pad
prep sol wipe down
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss – Applied via foam cannon
Dwell
Surf City Pacific Blue wash via two bucket wash method
Water blown from vehicle surfaces and cracks/crevices via blower
Remaining water dried with Optimum No Rinse as drying aid
Paintwork protected with Collinite 845 Insulator Wax
Windows cleaned with Surf City Clearly Better
Wheel wells dressed with Chemical Guys Bare Bones
Rims treated with Duragloss Aquawax
Tires Dressed with Surf City Tire Pro
Before Wash (not even the dirt can hide those swirls)
Exterior Cleanse - in process shots
After Wash = Swirl City
Meguiars 105 and foamed wool..

Your kidding right, those are best sun shots I have seen on here. They are close up and of the right angle to confirm there is no holograms or buffer trails in the paint. If others would do the same then there wouldn't be any doubts to their work.
