    Chevy Silverado "quick wash"

    Hello All,

Today I took on my neighbors work truck. He told me to give it a quick wash inside and out. After looking at the truck I knew there was going nothing "quick" about this wash.

    I used:
    Meguiars gold glass wash
    Iron x
Chemical guys slick finish cleaner wax
    Turtle wax chrome polish
    Tuffstuff for interior
Meguiars 39 for trim and interior
Chemical guys silk finish on (doors and seats)
    Meguiars 40 for exterior trim

The car came with a lot of scuff marks and iron deposits from spending a majority of its day on construction sites. I was surprised how much the chemical guys cleaner wax took off. My neighbor will be picking up his car tomorrow and of course it rained before he could see it, so I sprayed it with meguiars 156 to take some of the water spots off. It took me a total of 3.5 hours doing everything by hand. Feel free to offer advice on products or technique that may have help make this process easier or quicker.

Enjoy the pictures. I'm investing in a better camera because my phones camera isn't working too well.

    Thank you!

*****Sorry for the Upside down pictures! I am not sure how to fix that through the app.****

Great job. WOW a lot of real estate on that truck! One product you listed that I am curious about is the CG slick finish cleaner wax. How was it to work with? Thanks.

    Thank you!

CG slick finish was very easy to work with. I applied it with a microfiber hand applicator. Per the directions, it has to be applied to the entire vehicle and let it sit for 15 mins then remove, but since it was such a large truck, I only applied it to which ever half was in my garage at the time. I waited 15 mins and removed it. The removal process took a little elbow grease and was a little rough to take off in spots, but I have read that it may be because I did not let it sit on the paint long enough. Overall, it was easy to work with and took off a lot of scuffs that were on the paint. This is the third car I use it on and I always get good results from it.
