Show and "not" shine

At OCDetail we have already worked on 30 Model X's! Were known for "bringing the shine" when it comes to paint corrections, protective coating applications, and installing paint protection film. I know we've personally wrapped 6 Model X's front to back with Xpel ultimate. This one though was special because its the first Blue Model X in to ever be completely wrapped with Xpel stealth! For this job we chose a 100% custom install on the exterior to ensure no little bits of the paint would show through. The only patterns used were the seat backs which we also wrapped in Xpel Stealth. Enjoy!

We started with shiny blue MX(Not the one in pic, this local forum member cars after multi step paint correction and about 60% Xpel ultimate coverage on all the main impact areas topped with Cquartz Finest) but blinding gloss was not the goal here.

We were going for a stealth finish! This project took us just over 5 days and and close to 70 man hours involved. All the trim was removed, lights were removed, to get the cleanest install possible. Relief cuts are normal because film does have limitations but we took all the steps to make sure there are few as possible.

At first we tried to just tuck everything but decided the look was not good enough because there was still little bits of blue popping out here and there. I'm sure this would of been fine for the customer but were OCD so we removed everything we could to because 96% stealth wasn't good enough. We wanted 99%... Tragically you cant leave film on the parking sensors so they have to stay glossy

Badges!!!! We don't need no stinking badges!!! Rock Ridge will never this X coming even if there is a "blazing saddle" on top.

A close up to show the level of skill that went into this install. Using pre cut patterns you'll notice there is alway a little bit of film that is notched out on corners. I'm totally ok with this if it a glossy finish but with stealth its unacceptable.

It was raining a little pick up day, but the beads of water showed Cquartz Finest protection clearly in tact. Went through the trouble of putting the Stealth wrap on so we buried it in multiple layers of Cquartz Finest. Any time you put paint protection film on your car no matter the brand. It requires maintenance to keep it in tip top shape. Coating the film makes this a breeze by eliminating the need to wax or seal it on a regular basis. And Finest has protective properties no sealant could ever dream of having. Win Win in my books!

Completely ready for the kids to do their worst(disguise was used to keep children identity safe)! Seats protected with stealth as well and coated with Cqaurtz Finest! The leather received 3 layers of Cquartz Leather, and carpets and matts coated with Cquartz Fabric. No reason to cry about spilled milk because it all beaded up and could be put right back in that cup.

This X is going to get put to intended use for sure! And with the combo of Xpel Stealth and Cquartz Finest bring it on I say!

We couldn't leave the Onyx wheels to fend for them selfs, so they were removed and sprayed with Cquartz Dlux. Now they dare dirt to stick. Calipers got the same treatments and trim as well. We believe if were going to make your paint look amazing for years... We have to do the same for all surfaces, wheels, trim, glass, lights, interior, ect... Because awesome looking paint and faded trim still look like an old car. We're to OCD for that!

Full Paint correction, 60% Xpel Coverage, stealth back seats, powder coated wheels, and Cquartz(finest, Dlux, Leather, FlybyForte, and Carpet) Everywhere else!

Same service as above but complete doors wrapped and top off with Opti Coat Pro Plus(and various optimum/cquartz coatings on everything else)

In multi coat white looking amazing after full paint correction, wheels off detail, stealth back seats, 60% Xpel coverage, and Cquartz Finest everywhere!

Simply stunning after the usual service we have done on most the X's that came in. Protection that will last. It is what we do!

Midnight Metallic with powder coated satin black 20's showing a perfect light reflection. Corrected, protected, and ready for the world!

Sig Red with powder coated turbine gray 22's. And the usual 60% Xpel, and Cquartz everywhere!

My favorite pic so far! WOW in Obsidian black just amazing! 26 hour paint correction, 60% Xpel coverage, and Cquartz Finest! We also installed a blackvue on this one because with a shine like that.... You need evidence of blinding people.

Nice work! Never understood the wrapping an entire car though. Mine are all daily drivers and it's rare if ever I've had an impact chip on anything but front facing panels. Although I usually have all of mine wrapped up front. Our van is the only exception.
