I believe the OP was looking for answers and reasons to buy the Rupes over the Griots, IMHO this is a big reason to buy the Rupes system over the Griots polisher. Sport.
The color code is on the bottle label, not the cap.

Well here is what I have. The white pads correspond with the fast correcting cream which has a white dot on the label. The orange pads correspond with the correcting cream which has a orange dot on the label and finally the yellow pads correspond with the perfecting cream which has a yellow dot on the label. Pretty much self explanatory if you ask me.

Just a note, the front label on each of the Griot's products has a pad in the color which they recommend for that product. They have four products with four different colored pads. White, Orange, Yellow and Black.

Re: Rupes or Griots Boss?
Is griots compounds silicon free?
I'll add my 2cents. I bought the rupes right when they came out. I love it. I do hate the soft start feature sometimes..
If I was buying again right now. I'd probably jump on the griots. I loved my old griots gg6. Dropped if off a truck and broke the back of the case. I wonder if they'll warranty that...lol

Yep, hard to miss, the welcome guide that comes with the polisher lays it all out very clearly too.
The polishes themselves are colored to match as well, though it is just a subtle tint. They each have their own pleasant scent too.
