Trying to decide which one Rupes LHR 15 MK II or Griots Boss 15

I've used both machines, and to be completely honest you can't go wrong with either one. They both have their "pros" and "cons."

Here's what they have in common: support from each manufacturer with pads and chemicals designed specifically for each respective machine.

Griots has a 2yr bumper to bumper warranty and a lifetime Warranty on the main motor.

We've recently acquired a Rupes LHR15 MKII... it is the smoothest DA machine I have ever used.

I just got a 21 MK II and the 6" BP seems a little smaller then the previous model. The 6" pad fits on it perfectly compared to the LHR. When I first got the LHR I bought the 4" BP to fit onto 5" pads. But now it seems as if 5" pads fit the MK II good as well.

Just so happens, yesterday I used both machines. During the day I used the Boss 15 on my pick up truck. Later, I attended Mike Phillips' Thursday Night Detail Class. There I had the chance to use the Rupees. Both are fine systems. With "system" being the operative word. IMHO, the Rupees is a slightly better system. It is engineered to be almost vibration free if used correctly. That translates to getting less tired. Bottom line? Go with a Rupees.

And I have 3 Rupes tools and the Griot's GG6 and the G21. It's nice to have options
