Priming LC Orbital Pads
Just got some of the LC Orbital Pads for my Rupes 15. For those who have already used them, what is the best way to prime the pads? Should I prime them the way that the Rupes pads are primed (which is not at all, really), or the more traditional method for flat pads such as method #1 in Mike's post below?

Bump. I'm curious about this too.

Depends on what polish you are using.

Curious too, I have not used yet, but unless someone else posts advice I will add a few circles spray of detailer, dab, dab, dab, and go at it.
As Mark said, depends on the polish, first time I used sf4500 I primed the pad.. haha, used 50+ towels to wipe up the polish.

That's one polish I would not prime the pad with!! Way too oily.

Quoted for truth.
It will depend on if you are using diminishing or none diminishing abrasives. "Seasoning" lends more towards SMAT or non diminishing and "Priming" for diminishing. "Priming" is a catch all term for both, but both are very different.
