Help With Meguiars Scratch X 2.0

Hey guys. I have a few minor scratches I'd like to take care of with Scratch X. I've used it with great results on my girlfriend's car, but it doesn't do anything on mine. So I figure it must have something to do with having the following layers on:

    Klasse AIO
    Klass High Gloss Sealant x2
    Pinnacle SSII

Are these the culprits? Is there a way to still use Scratch X?

    Thanks!

My car is a 2011 Mustang, not sure if that's considered to have a hard clear coat or not.

The girlfriend's car is a 2003 Chevy Cavalier that's in horrible shape. I'd venture to guess a lot of the clear coat is gone. It definitely shows it's 8 years in the Texas sun.

What is your scratch removal process?
Are your scratches deep enough to catch them with your finger nail?If they are, maybe they are too deep to correct. Also be careful if they are so you don't blow thru the clear coat trying to correct them.

The sealant and wax have nothing to do with it, ScratchX will strip that stuff off immediately.

Hmm good to know. In that case what's the best way to recover that area?

    Here's what I did:
    1) Small dab on a microfiber pad
    2) Light to Medium elbow grease in back and forth motion.
    3) After seeing it not work, I removed the excess product with quick detailer.

I can just barely catch the scratches with my fingernail, so maybe I'm just dealing with a little too much depth.

Thanks everybody! I'll probably just leave well enough alone.
