Re: Duragloss Aquawax is the real deal!

I have been using Aquawax as a drying aid on all opticoated cars and it defiantly amps up the shine and slickness. I just mist it on the wet car and dry with a single waffle weave and the blower. Don't let the price fool you. You don't have to spend big bucks to get quality from Dura Gloss.

Re: Duragloss Aquawax is the real deal!

AquaWax is one of my favorites, as is virtually every product I use made by Duragloss. But as an experimenter, I try a bunch of different things and one product that acts very much like AW is Lucas Slick Mist Spray Wax. The advantage is that it is a bit cheaper than AW and can be found everywhere locally, including WalMart. My NAPA store does not carry any Duragloss products and I must order them. The Lucas has a great smell, can be used as a drying aid, QD and "topper". It is a great product and equal to AW, in my opinion.

I've never used it as a drying aid, just when the car is already clean and I wanna add a little "somethin, somethin".

How does it look on your black Abarth?

I'm trying to figure out what I want to use on my black car, but I'm waffeling between Meg's UQW and AW. I'm not looking for more of a deep gloss than a mirror like shine.

Here's the deal, per Bill, president of DG, once the Enviroshield system is applied, he recommends NOT using AW on the car. Now this could also be not needing to use it rather than not using it all, need to find this out. Not sure how AW could damage their paint coating.

I grabbed some of this last month when I went to Napa and they didn't have AW, I haven't tried it yet...it's been mentioned on this forum a few times. I have Megs UQW as well so I look forward to comparing the two.

Well I'll say this, my black RAV4 pops when I hit it with the AW, I use to use the UQW and UQD and the results were really good, great product all the way around , but the AW blows both if them out the water.
At times I got streaks when I used the Meg's sprays but not with the AW, 100% flawless every time I use it

What separates it the most from others is how slick the paint feels once your done buffing it off.

Seeing is believing like some say, I'm one of those people so when I saw the AW results for the first time I was floored and won't look back
