einszett Cockpit Premium : Will this offer any protection?
Guys,, will the einszett Cockpit Premium offers some protection to interior dashboard or is it just used as a cleaner??
Is it comparable to 303 aerospace protectant in terms of protection?

I'm not sure if 1Z cockpit has any UV protection. None of the write ups on it mention any. I do know that CG Innerclean and Auto Finesse Spritz both have UV protection and also look 100% matte and dry like 1Z without the slight wet glow 303 leaves behind.
I tested 1Z, Adam's total interior, 303, CG Innerclean and AF Spritz to find the one I liked best. 1Z, CG and AF all look and work the same and leave a 100% matte and dry finish, they just smell different. Adam's was a bit wetter looking and 303 the wettest looking of the bunch.

It seems like if it did offer protection they would state that in the description. The fact that it leaves an oem finish really means it leaves no product behind on the surface to alter the look. Consider it a cleaner IMO . I love it and use it. Just wish it offered something in the line if protection as well.

Another site description says "1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium lightly cleans and protects in a single operation".
The 303 probably would offer more protection.

RE: "einszett Cockpit Premium"
-Is it a "Cleaner";
-Does it provide "UV-protection". (If so: protection from which "UV(s)")
-And/Or Both?

I talked to 1Z and they said it offers "light" protection. They said this is because modern windshields filter out most of the harmful UV light.
That being said when I said that I had a convertible they said that they would use another product, such as 1Z Einzett Vinyl Protectant to effectivly protect against all the UV rays. This would provide the protection that 303 provides. That being said, it would impart a look more similar to the 303, not the factory-matte look that many of us prefer.
Despite all that, 1Z Cockpit is my favorite interior light cleaning product. It is effective and smells great, not to mention is safe for you and your car!
Happy detailing!

I realize the % is quite low for the below, highlighted in red chemical:

Thanks for the EPA link, Bob. I, too, check the MSDS sheets for every product before I buy. In addition, I always wear the recommended PPE, but at a minimum protective (nitrile most of the time) gloves and eye protection.
When I said it is safe for your car, I was going off empirical evidence that I have seen, as well as feedback from the professional detailers on this and other forums.
When I referred to it being safe for you, I usually check the NFPA Hazard Ratings located in the MSDS. In this case, the HFPA 704 Health Rating is 0, which under the safety guidelines means it is no hazard to your health. Under OSHA HMIS rating, it is also a 0 in the health section (in fact, all sections for that matter).
This is what led me to believe that it was no threat to one's health, but your research into the individual chemicals makes me question the validity of the rating. Maybe it is that it is such a low percentage that it becomes diluted out. In my cursory research, it seems that Methyl Ethyl Ketone, or Butanone, only has adverse health effects in high quantities, and as such does not register for occupational safety.
I think that given the knowledge of the product, coupled with the information that we have gained through the safety sheets, it would be advisable to wear gloves when using this, or any automotive detailing chemical.
I think we can all agree that it is a great tool to have in the arsenal. As always, happy detailing!
