Depends on the paint. Soft paint I find I have to follow up any drying with another towel to avoid towel marks. On harder paints it's solely 1 towel.

Sounds like we use the foam cores the same way! Amazingly easy and effective!

I have to agree. One Drive Me Crazy will do my Audi or my Ford which both have hard clear!

Good to know! My cc has soft paint. Glad you posted this. Now I won't spend $200 looking for the best drying towel. I think I'm going to get the dry me crazy Jr. As a follow up. Plus it gives me an excuse to buy more crazy pile towels. Those things are awesome.

i will add the guzzlers and sonus were bought at the same time. only washed in mf solution. the guzzlers are already showing signs of losing absorbancy. just pushing the water around. the sonus ones are still absorbing fine.

I do like how it feels and feel really safe using it on my black paint. But my drying towel that I bought from pepboys does a better job drying. But the pepboys towel might be leaving swirls behind. I plan on using the dry me crazy from here on out. But I am going to look for a smaller follow up drying towel

I don't think the JR. will. I came back to this thread because i know there is interest in the Dry Me Crazy and I originally posted that i wasn't impressed. Well I changed my method, by first using the BLUE edge-less MF towel that AG sells. I use it on the places my car lets heavy water sit (the roof, hood and above the trunk). It soaks up my blue edgeless and then i bring in the dry me crazy (regular size) and get the rest of the water off of my car. I was able to do this, without having to bring in another follow up towel. So instead of a follow up towel, use a pre- towel and the dry me crazy will take care of the rest. I was very satisfied.
I never used a DMC Jr., but the thing with the regular size is you really cant wring it out. The water just sits in the towel and its so thick, it kind of just stays in there. But man, it eats up a lot of water. I'm assuming the Jr. would be easier to wring out and if it is, then I don't see why it wouldn't do the job.
