Arrow SON1C Synopsis 42 : DoDo Juice Carnauba Waxes - Austintacious Review

SON1C Synopsis 42 brings you one of DoDo Juice's limited edition waxes. To Begin I'll start with some background on this wax..
"To celebrate 50 years of the Austin Mini, Dodo Juice have created this very special anniversary wax. Since 1959 over 5 million of these cheeky four wheeled icons have been sold, therefore, Dodo Juice have produced a limited run of this triple layered (red, white and blue) wax, only 539 pots will be available, one for every 10,000 minis built."
This is a Soft Wax, in 200 ml size plastic pot.

This wax contains 3 layers of wax, each colored differently (red white and blue) however all three layers are the same formula.
If you like DoDo Juice Blue Velvet you will like this wax.

I found this wax to go on easy, come off easy, as I find with every DoDo Juice Carnauba Wax.

Honestly this is a great wax, the look is provides is unique to many of the popular waxes of today. This is definitely a WET wax, it provides a deep wet look, its not very bright and or reflective. Personally this is isn't my preferred look on my vehicle however on some setups I do enjoy this look and I know that many enjoy the super wet look. I particularly enjoyed this on my clients black mustang with chrome wheels -- great contrast between the two.

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of this thread? Are you reviewing the first wax you have a picture of?

Now, im not a photoshop user, nor know anything about photo shop.... so idk if those are natural shots or been messed with.

But seriously through, idk why there are other picture of waxes, it confuses the reader...

Me personally I can't see the difference between waxes giving wet or bright looks, etc. Wax as far as I'm concerned is for protection, not looks. The prep work is what makes or breaks the look. As far as this thread, it's kinda confusing seeing edited photos and different waxes pictured :/ I would like to see the same car pictured with different waxes on different pictures to really see the difference.

Haha! A bit harsh but I have to agree with the sentiment. Every time I see a fake "HDR" I'm instantly turned off. Anyone with a little photo knowledge can make a car look good compounding with contrast, polishing it off with saturation and throwing in a bit of sharpening as the LSP. Sorry, couldn't help it.

When I open a review I want to see the true unadulterated raw images. Let me be the judge of the final look and save these pictures for flickr or instagram or whatever kids are playing with today.

So which wax did you use on this review? Did you use the last 3 waxes too? It's just too confusing.

And I agree pictures shouldn't be processed. There's no point in showing off pictures that are processed. How would we see what this wax does to the paint? A swirled up and dull looking car can look shiny with photoshop.
