cleaning perforated leather

what is recommended to clean perforated leather seats, so as to avoid plugging the tiny holes in the seats?

I use the same products as any other leather surface, but I first work the product into the applicator before it touches the seat. You don't want to apply globs of conditioner to perforated leather; let it soak into the applicator first, then gently/evenly spread it across the surface and work it in.

I just completed that one this week end on a BMWX5, used the clearner with a shoe polish brush, then I took another shoe polish brush and applied the condisioner.

And I will usually start by wiping the sides or head rest first. Which is usually not perforated.

I use 303 Aerospace on leather applied with a foam applicator. Lightly mist the app and apply and you will be able to buff it dry without plugging the holes. 303 is water based and is not thick so it won't plug up the holes.
