Jescar Correcting Compound First Impression
I am getting my Challenger ready to go to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. My car club is getting to drive laps around the track. It will be the second time I've done this and I'm super excited!
The hood of my Challenger is used for all manner of product and process testing and as a result it is victim to minor micro-marring. In order to get ready for this weekend's event I decided to clean up the hood's slightly perceptible scratches. Below are the products I tested. A Flex 3401 was used throughout.
• Lake Country Force white pad, M205
• Lake Country Force orange pad, M205
• Lake Country Force orange pad, Jescar Micro Finishing Polish
• Lake Country Force white pad, Jescar Correcting Compound
It is possible that something like Griot's Garage Correcting Cream and an orange Force pad may have done the job too, but I've been looking for an excuse to use the new Jescar abrasives.
I primed the pad and started working on a part that M205 would not budge (in a short enough amount of time). After a few seconds I got the hang of the compound. It rocks! The small bits of micro-marring are gone with the wind.
The product acted like M205 and Griot's Garage Perfecting Cream - it works a sort of "dense" film onto the panel. On flat surfaces I noticed no visible dusting. On contoured parts it dusts similarly to other compounds.
When I next have an opportunity I will test Jescar Correcting Compound on a vehicle that has more severe defects so I can share more about its potential after the "honeymoon" phase.

Glad you like it so far in the honeymoon phase of your testing it out.
I put it through my normal abrasive test on my black demo hood and for what it's worth, stated in my review in post #4
