    That's a standard 7424. The new 7424XP has a full ABS body it looks like.

    I sure like the Standard-Length Cord that comes with the new Griot.

    How does it compare with what comes with the PC 7424-XP ?

    I just ordered one of the package deals with the new Griot's unit with the HD cord option. I've read elsewhere that this new one is far and away better than the original, and might even have an edge on power to other similar units. I can't wait to try it out! Luckily, I found a buyer for my old Griot's unit who is just starting out with polishing. Thanks AUTOGEEK for carrying Griot's Garage products. I still think their clay is one of the best out there.
