I love the idea of seeing a comparison of these two units. Mike Phillips would definitely be a great person to have do it. If it were done, what would be the different categories to rate the machines on? Vibration, comfort, price, warranty, ease of use, overall surface finish, etc? Those are just a few I thought of, but what ground rules would we all want to see in the comparison? |

I really doubt that AG is going to do a side by side. Think about it, either way one of their great vendors would not be so happy.

This kind of comparison is only really feasible for groups like Consumer Reports: a group that does not have any vested monetary interests in any one brand.

I understand that someone at AG can't do a comparision, especially since griots just came on as a vendor.
It does seem that no one has direct experience with both new machines, which Is unfortunate. Unfortunate because I won't take a chance on the griots. For a purchase of that amount for me, I will have to pick the one with the "reputation".
I started the thread looking for some help and got some great opinions. Thanks to all that chimed in. I will post again when I get/use the xp.

I already have G110. Took a look at build, noticed Griot's included some spares in the box, and used them side by side for few hours. My G110 is for sale. I hope that's 'nuff said.
