Anyone else getting excited for the 2016 F1 season?

I am! With 21 races this year, the introduction of Gene Haas' team, new qualifying rules (that Niki Lauda blasted!) etc. i can't wait.

The only downside is the US race is still in limbo. Hopefully Bernie gets that resolved.

Last I heard COTAS came up with the money. I am sick of Bernie and his money grubbing ways.

Hopefully Mercedes won't be so dominant this year. If someone could knock them down a peg or two it would be great.

Ferrari is saying they will close the gap on Mercedes this year but i would expect them to say that anyway. We'll see. At least Mercedes entertains us with intraseason driver squabbles occassionally!

Yes, i am sick of Bernie as well but he seems to be the juggernaut of everything F1.

Hopefully Vettel can at least challenge Rosberg for his position, but I cant imagine a situation where Hamilton does not win the title again. Best ( or at least tied for best ) driver with the best car is going to win the title every year.

This. I started watching more F1 last year. I love road racing and F1 is really exciting. Saw some of the E1 races last year. Weird not hearing internal combustion engines.

Yep, gonna be a bit more interesting this year. I am a Hamilton fan, but I still hold out hope for Jenson Button, even though McLaren does not look like it made a big leap. Obviously hoping for a good run from Haas, as long as they do better than the current back markers it will be a success. Really happy that Jan Magnussen's son is back in with Renault, and hope they keep the 'spunk' that was great in Lotus. And finally, looking forward to what young Verstappen can do in the now Ferrari powered Torro Rosso.

I've been an F1 fan for many years and always rooted for my favorite BMW team and driver. Since they've bowed out of the pinnacle of motor racing i've had to find other favorites. Last year were the rookies Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen. This year i will be pulling for Haas but as a rookie team i think they'll most likely have a hard time adjusting to the climate of F1.

I saw a few clips of last season and then was really hooked while watching the US Gran Prix. I feel my DVR is going to get a lot of work!

I'm also getting pretty fired up about the WEC starting. And then there is IMSA WeatherTech series with Sebring this weekend....

I'm getting back into it this year, I love the sounds,cars etc. I just hope F1 is more competitive, it seems like the manufacturers race is over early. Looking forward to the Haas team

World Superbike has started already with two races in the books and MotoGP starts this weekend.....
