By definition microfiber is many times smaller than a cotton fiber. I also don't understand how cotton can legitimately be called a microfiber.

Cotton fibers = 0.7 - 2.3 denier

Microfiber = less than 0.03 denier

silk strand = 8 denier

human hair = 20 denier

So how is it possible to call cotton a microfiber without ignoring the definition of what a microfiber is.

Not bashing cotton toweling just the idea of calling cotton a microfiber.

No doubt this is true, I won't debate that.

What "might" be debatable, notice I say "might", is the softness of the fibers?

Again, maybe in Microfiber's infancy there could be a clear cut winner, but at current day I myself am not so sure, the battle of softness of synthetics versus natural 100% Cotton?

I lol'd as I read that. '97 Black Cougar, original paint, no wax, no polish, but no sun shots...hmmmm. Hide much??
