"G R E A T" Idea for next contest
Hello AG Peeps:
Here's an idea for the next contest for the talented people on AG. Next time you are going to give away a detailing product(s), make the contest "who can write the best Haiku.? It has to be specific to the product you are promoting
As you may know a Haiku is a Japanese Poem with 5 lines. Here is an example:
There was an Old Man with a beard,
Who said, 'It is just as I feared!
Two Owls and a Hen,
Four Larks and a Wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard!'
You have a lot of talented minds here on AG, it would be fun to see their creative side. BTW, you could even pick the top 5 and WE would all vote.
Any others interested?
Thanks for your consideration!

Good idea, but I think this is a limerick, not a Haiku. IIRC, a Haiku is made up of 3 phrases that have 5 syllables in the first phrase, then 7 syllables in the next, and 5 syllables in the last phrase.

I believe that may be a limerick.
The definition of Haiku is a little more complex than that, I think.
Something about syllables and seasons.

Dear Mr. Bacon:
For Mercy's sake; and, to stem the flow of negativity from the self-appointed etymologists...
Please change the comparative!!!

PS: "G R E A T" idea, though.

You guys are good, your absolutely right, its a lymrick....But I still think it would make for a fun contest.
Anyway's, I guess this would be a limerick and not a hakiu
AG Forum has taught me a lot
some of it good and some of it not

There you go! Thanks for your Limerick...It seems to contain many "truths"...
A pleasant change from the usual bawdiness that's often associated with limericks.

This will have some folks blood starting to boil,
And finding ways to his demise they will foil.
But I've always found he's a friend to rely on".
