Looking ahead...
Well, I'm looking towards winter right now. I don't expect my side job/business to take off any time soon. (Trying to start a mobile detailing service on the side.)
But if it takes off later this Summer of Fall, I'm wondering what sealant/waxes can be used at extreme temps (near or below freezing). Anyone have any experience with this?
Any other good winter products I should know about?
Right now I'm planning on using ONR for washes during the cold months...

Re: Looking ahead...
Honestly, I would use Collinite 476 or Duragloss #105 mixed with #601. I applied DG 105 to our Regal in November and it survived the whole winter, road salt and touch less washes. I didn't top it with DG Aqua Wax until late March if I remember correctly.

That's the answer I would expect.

Can #476 be used in freezing temps, or will it be has hard as a rock?

Collinite 845. You will have to warm it up in hot water if it's cold out, but it offers protection like no other.

My garage is not heated and I would guess that it was 30-35 F when I applied it. Keep in mind that all of my chemicals stay inside my house year round. I literally had to wash/rinse panel by panel because the rinse water would freeze. After I finished I did a rinse down with high pressure then moved the car inside to pat dry. Didn't apply wax until the next day.

I have #845 and love it. I'm just not sure how lig it'll stay milky in freezing temps.

I've washed a car with a regular wash in freezing temps. Last time I do that...
I'll probably try #476 this winter. See how it works out.

As long as you heat it up in hot water it should stay milky long enough to do a normal size vehicle. And even if it doesn't all you have to do is run it under some more hot water.

That's a good idea. But if I'm mobile I will have to bring some warm water in a bucket. That may be the trick. I will still give #476 a try though, just to see my preference.

Re: Looking ahead...
Why not just bring the 845 in at night and keep it by the heater in your detailing vehicle?
