Question - what's going on back here:

Hahaha, thats where the "old bombs" had to park. To be honest, these pictures are taken at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. There is an amazing WW1 & WW2 exhibition of aircraft etc here (5 minutes from my house) & most of which belong to Sir Peter Jackson, & alot of the exhibits were made at Weta Workshops. Pretty amazing place. Every two years at Easter we play host to the Classic Fighters Air Show, this year April 14-16th. The bomb is just a prop, there is actually a trench just behind it too. In one or two of the photos you can see a DC-3 & an old Bristol Freighter sitting on the airfield. A couple of pics from 2015.

The NZ McLaren Dealership is in the North Island & very seldom do you see one. A lot of these cars were from around the world, & were shipped here for the Tour. Fitting seeing as this is the true home of McLaren.

    Thanks Angus,

    Aaryn NZ.

No but I did have a good yarn with the crew from McLaren & made some good contacts. I'd have to go & buy a lift for the shop - my poor old back would grizzle at the thought of working on these consecutively.

Hmmm..........Not sure what I like more. The McLarens, or that WWII Supermarine Spitfire.

Kick ass pics, Aaryn. Thanks, buddy!!

    Thank you.

Hmmm, I understand completely. I saw a clip today of an airshow in the UK & they had 16 Spitfires flying in formation at one time . . . the sound . . . Wow! 16 Rolls Royce Merlins . . . Aaargh! Amazing sound. Then, I can't fly a plane, so McLaren it is.

Hehehe, yep! We take supercar security very seriously down here! The sheep got too close & the VW transporter looked suspicious, so a rocket was fired as a warning.

Super to see, thought the rocket might have been a N Korean test shot.

    Thank you.

That'd be the end of little ol' New Zealand . . . & a bunch of McLarens.
