    Hello

    New member here from near Houston. Looking forward to gleaning information regarding finer points of detailing. Reading everything I can find to learn more about use of orbital power polishers. Am trying to work up the courage to buy an orbital polisher (Meguiars or Porter Cable possibly) to use in applying paint sealant or wax to my 09 BMW 528. Don't plan on doing much, if any, actual polishing on the paint but am still concerned by reports of paint problems incurred with use of power polishers (including orbital units).

    Welcome. Buy a DA polsher--it's all about the polishing--the wax will take care of itself.
