Wearing headphones while detailing?
If I'm going to be detailing as a business, I'm going to need music. I can either get in-ear headphones, or ones that go over my ears, and I cant decide which would be best.
The over ears could get hit by water and might look unprofessional and they could possibly get in the way.
The in ears could be uncomfortable and wont sound as nice as the over ears.
Anyone have personal experience detailing with either?

I'm looking at Shure e4c's for IEMS, and Grados 325i for over-ear. Depends which style I decide on.

I wear ear plugs when using the DA's. Otherwise I have a solar sound bluetooth sound bar and pandora.

Yeah, if you can listen to an ipod while using a PC, the music has to be pretty loud....even with the in-ear buds.
I've stopped using my ipod at the gym because of this for the most part. Seems like regular volume at the gym, but when I try to play them at home at the same volume, it's so loud.

Once again, get some Klipsch image S4. At halfway i cant hear anything of whats going on outside. As soon as i buy ipods, i throw away the garbage headphones they come with.

+1. I run with these and they are incredible. I removed the original ear buds for Comply Foam ear buds. They're much more comfortable and cancel out all noise. The downside is you can't hear anything and if someone is trying to get your attention, they can't unless they touch you, and this has scared the living sh** out of me a couple of times.
