It's a good idea to resize your pictures to a viewable size before uploading them, I use 800 pixels as a standard, this is 800 pixels wide

    From my article list...

Photography and Working with Pictures on the Internet

How to upload a photo into your Autogeek Photo Gallery

How to insert an image from your photo gallery into your message

How-To capture swirls, scratches, etchings and other surface defects with your camera

How-to work with pictures on discussion forums

How to crop out the fluff and resize your pictures! - Using FREE online software!

I use Easy Thumbnails to resize my all my pictures, both Avatars and huge files off my Canon, I don't have a tutorial on how to use it here on AGO but I have one on MOL here,

How to resize your photos before uploading

It's really easy to use, the tutorial just shows you how to set it up...

I'm going to use it today to resize boat pictures and pictures from the cars we shot in Bristol, Tennessee for this weekends Episode 3 of our TV show.

I am not a detailer my self but for my boat I do use mobile steam cleaning service of DetailXperts.

    Re: Marine/Boat/Watercraft Detailers?

I did a boat yesterday. It wad defintely an experience. My GG DA handled the job but I could of used a rotary for sure!

I also got stuck on 1 thing.

I went over an area where a decal had "burned" through. No matter what I threw at it it never fully went away. I used several compounds, different pads etc and no dice. Any of you vets know a secret or is my DA just not strong enough to pull it out?

    Re: Marine/Boat/Watercraft Detailers?

try wet sanding it with 1000 grit then buff it . rotary is the best and may not need to be sanded then .heat will kill you and the stickers .
