Beware of the Cobra Micro-Chenille mitts

After using these a few times I noticed that my MF towels had something stuck to them. When I went to use one mitt the inside felt different. I looked inside and saw the liner was all shredded. This is only after 3 washes.

Compared to another after one wash

Yikes. I don't put my hand in my mitts so i always cut them out. Never had any shed like that, though.

The new ones have a different lining that the older blue one does. The new ones are like a foam. The older had a solid perforated liner. I like the mitts, just don't wash them with your towels.

Wow. I use an old blue one. I never put my hand in it though. Why does it seem lately that something really good, gets changed for the worse?

Even the older blue ones were junk, both of mine fell apart after one car wash each.

Hmm. I have not had mine fall apart. I have never machine washed it though. I always wash by hand.

Yeah I have come to the conclusion that anything Cobra is junk. The towels are ok at first but after a short time they start linting like crazy. Not only that but they are WAY over priced. AG needs to step back and check out what a quality towel really is and adjust the price. PakShak and PB towels are so much better at half the cost.

That sucks Lou! As far as the mitts go I removed the liners and the elastic band shortly after using them. Since then they have lasted over two years now. Having said that I have a carrand mitt and other wash media I use to so dont use them every time but I did use them on my sky for about two years and they are still good.

I don't use cobra towels. The one thing that needs improvement imo.
