Looking for input on this 83 Mazda

So I have this 1983 Mazda RX-7 getting dropped off tonight. I had some preconceived ideas about it, but I was wrong. Guy brought it over last night to get looked at. I figured at that age it should be single stage but I did some looking and it's either a repaint or original clear. Around the rear antenna it looks like the coat has started to fail which leads me to believe it has clear. Another reason I think it's a repaint is around the badges there is some goop, like glue to put them back on. Also the only images I can find of a 1983 Mazda RX-7 Limited are of silver units.
    Here is the hood:

So you can see it is swirl city. I am ok with the paint work but I have two areas I don't know about. One is the A pillar. It looks painted but looks but it has some serious issues. I looked up stock images and it looks like it should be black?

Lastly are the wheels. The look like straight good ole aluminium. So I am going to approach with Sonax FE but I don't think there is much more to be done to them.

    Suggestions are welcome!

Trim needs a repaint, the wheels will more than likely be that rough finish aluminum and be a bear to clean. FE should work ok on them!!

Well, upon further inspection when it was dropped off, it is a 1979 limited edition, which there were 3000 made and the brown was the color. Car has the ORIGINAL tires on it!
I grabbed pictures after getting it in the garage:

I will get more once it is pulled outside and I start on it today
