Pre Collinite 476S treatment, your way.
What would you do?

Washed
Menz P085rd
DG 652
2 coats 845
2 coats 476s
Did this a Month ago, we have had a few 100 degree days and today 106. Did the usual Saturday wash and the water ran off the sloped panels and the typical beading on the roof. I did the 845 first as that was all I was going to do until I read the longevity of 476s.

That was pretty much my plans. I have the SF4000, the car is relatively new (5 mo's) paints in very good condition. The SF finishes down nice. I like the way you think. I was just throwing this out there to get some alternative steps.

+1 with some slight mods...
Wash
Decontaminate w/ IronX or similar (assuming never done before)
Clay
SF4000 or Ultimate Polish
IPA Wipedown w/ medium nap MF (removes polishing oils)
476S
845 (assuming you have this and have the energy)
The reason why I would use 476 and 845 is because 476 has heavy protection (lasts up to 2 years) and 845 amps up gloss (great gloss and protection).

2 years ? Really. I have read some at 6 months, some at 9 and some near or at a year but this is the first at up to 2 years. I hope your right as I have 2 coats 1 Month old. What do you use for maintaining, QD, wash soap etc.

If you've been compounding and/or polishing, no prep is necessary other than a wipe with diluted IPA or Meguiar's D114. My favorite process if no serious polishing has been done is a preliminary pass with DG501/601, then 476, 915 or 845 immediately after. Durability is enhanced and any of the Collinites look more appealing than the DG alone, at least to my eyes.

I would think the solvents in 845 would possibly remove the 476, I would use one or the other but not both, thats just me.
