Question on cleaning wheels
So my neighbor wants me to polish out his Trailblazer. Which is no big deal I did his normal Blazer last year and got great results. However, both Chevys have the same issue with the rims and last year he said don't bother with em, well this time with his TrailBlazer I want to go the extra mile on it and make them look proper. Here is a photo of what is on the rims:
They look corroded, I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas in what I can do besides a total refurb which I know he won't want to pay for. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated

The only thing you could do on the cheap is to spray them with Plasti-Dip. Otherwise the need to be re done

Even with a refurb, the centercap will throw it all off.
I concur with AeroCleanse.

When you say redone, exactly what is done? My wife's DD has the same problem. I think it comes from the acid wheel cleaners at the butcher car wash.
Always keep the shine in your life.

What your looking at is clear coat failure on the wheel. Some wheels have that problem and there is nothing that can be don't about it besides re clearing them or getting new ones.

Ahh oh well, thanks for all the replies. I know he won't care about it, but it'll bother me cause the car will look great but then you'll have the nasty wheels lol.....

Re-done means they need to be stripped and repainted.
Don't take it to the butcher car wash

Re: Question on cleaning wheels
Or you could attempt to sand down the areas that are trashed, refill, sand, and hit it with a close-enough color match
