Everything I have got from Griots is top notch. You may want to look at Megs 105/205 also.
'Cause there's just something women like about a pickup man.

Stick with the M105/205 combo.

I use Griot's "Hand Polish" with my PC with a white pad for a fine cut, with good results. Megs #2 with an orange pad works well for a heavier cut. Ultimate Compound is good for a medium cut on up, and I find myself using the UC in lieu of #2 with very desirable results. Thus, I'd recommend UC to be one of your 3 "go to" products.

While all of Griots products seem to be above average IMO. There are only 3 however that I feel are a must have...
1) 6" DA ~ (skip there pads though. There variety is terrible)
2) Speed Shine ~ (Probally the best QD I have ever had the pleasure of working with)
3) Yellow Clay Bar ~ (Very elastic, effective and long lasting. The best Claybar short of Riccardo IMO)
As far as there 1-2-3 system goes? Why chance it when Megs 105/205 is the same price and a proven winner

Re: What do you think of this Griot's polishing kit?
I have used the entire line now of GG polishes, and found them more than adequate when used progrssively as to need and aggresiveness. Re: the pads--the orange polish pad has been fine, tho also have augmented with CCS Cobra cross cut and those have been excellent. Sometimes one needs a more aggressive pad--and LCounty has it--sometimes a bit softer and again they have those. There have been some times when the GG polishes need more grit, but then pad upgrade made the difference without switching product. Concur on the QDetailer...one of the best, and Spray on Wax is superb between washes--really and obviously extends any sealant of wax. I have also found that just placing the Spray on Wax evenly on in an evening, and letting it cure overnight has been a wonderful quick way to enhance my bling and keep my heavy waxing job fresh--but then it should make any wax last longer. It's been a great work saver for me after the polishing and waxing--for what its worth. Clay?? one of the better bargains...and nope not connected to them in any way. Its just been a good complete easy to use line for this old fellow...bests.

For you, I'd say go with the Wolfgang Twins.
