    Wheel cleaner/sealant BMF black

Guys I just put these on my truck, and the manufacturer says clean with soap and water only. Fine.

But I want to apply a wax/sealant for maximum shine/protection.

Does anyone here have these wheels?

What is the best sealer/wax that I can use for these?

    Thanks

Their reasoning for soap & water is to protect the finish. You could invest in a wheel sealant such as DP Wheel Glaze or Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. A couple other options would be Wolfgang Metal Sealant or even Rejex. Make sure whatever you choose is abrasive free and that you use a foam applicator pad or something very soft to avoid inducing scratches or swirls in the finish of the wheel. Autogeek carries finger pockets and microfiber gloves. The gloves allow you to work products in every portion of the wheel. So sealant of your choice, a pair of microfiber gloves, and the new black microfiber towels (on sale this week) and you will be in business. From this point soap and water will be just fine.

Richard is right regarding non-abrasive! I use DG 105 on my chrome wheels but it is mildly abrasive. A good sealant like UPGP or WG DGPS 3.0 would do the trick and be more durable and easier than DPWG IMO FWIW!

Honestly I was going to recommend DG 601/105 because it's such an awesome combo. I honestly can't say yes it will induce swirls or marring but wanted to be on the safe side. As long as the OP doesn't apply a lot of pressure and continues to check his applicator for debris, he should be safe.

Tom, I'm with you on the P21S wheel cleaner, trust me. If the OP takes the time to properly seal his wheels now it will be so much easier to maintain them.

I have PB wheel sealant but reach for #845 for the wheels it is easier to apply and lasts longer IMO.

Also note that the finish will get swirls and scratches from normal cleaning with, basically, any wheel brush Make sure you get some boars hair ones when you get the sealant.

Other than that and the recommendations above, just clean them often! Anything left of for long will be harder to remove and probably more risk of swirling/scratching.

Post some pics of them on the truck!

Thanks guys!!! Up until now I was just washing with soap and water using microfiber... Then I sealed them once with WG DGPS 3.0.

I will continue to clean with microfiber and soap and water.. and sealant

Here is my truck as requested...
