Choosing a pressure washer
Got the OK from SWMBO that a pressure washer is in my future. Now I need to pick one. Are there any good basic primers on what psi / gpm should be considered a minimum when getting one of these units?
Gas/electric?
Type/design of pump?
Anything to avoid?
It's confusing. I just want to get a reliable unit that I can have for car detailing, and maybe use for some other jobs around the house (patio furniture, etc...)
Thanks in advance for your replies.

But to actually answer your question. For most people an electric washer is enough. Unless you are in an area with no electrical power you will not need a gas washer. The main reason for a gas powered washer is the higher pressure, and if you are using it on a car you don't want the higher pressure anyway.
If you have a Costco near you look at the Snap On electric washer they are selling. It should be enough for you. And read what I had to say about it on the thread I sent you to.
