My favorite, and not necessarily detailing product related, is "same great product, nifty new packaging!"

It obviously works, and I guess people that it works on don't realize that nifty new packaging cost THEM more $$$ in the long run

I know all about it. I write reports for work that often cover it
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

It sounds like ADS Hero is perfectly fine but doesn't do anything to stand out in a now very crowded market. If anything, based on Guz's review, that N914v2 is better (slicker under wash media). I'm curious to watch his review on the Koch Chemie later this week to see how it compares. It's likely going to be pretty much the same.

I feel like I'm best off just sticking with what I have. All of which I'm perfectly happy with. Absolute for regular washes, Feynlab V1 for periodic decon washes, N914 v1 and/or Idrosave for variety. Once I run out of Absolute then maybe buy Hero, N914 v2, or KC Rapid Rinsless if it's any good.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

When Absolute came out it change the game in that it was the 1st one that touted slickness (it had it).

DiY I believe was the 1st hybrid (polymer and surfactant). I loved Absolute l… DiY was OK.

I think that was when blenders made another change. I feel most of these boutiques get them from one or the others.

Idrosave is a nice product but unless u want protection (I don’t care really if it has some or not) I feel it combined what people like best about DiY and Absolute.

I ordered it and Koch Chemie RR because I believe both companies blend own product and was looking for something greater.

In reality most new rinseless’s 2023 and beyond seem to be great

I was unveiled at TRCMA a couple of weeks ago. I would have bought a bottle by now but as usual, it takes forever to get new KCx products to land in Australia.

From what I can see, it's a polymer product, but it could also be a hybrid surfactant-polymer. It also has the industry standard 256:1 dilution ratio.

Rapid is packed with polymer lubricants and cleaners that help you not only perform rinseless washing, but also can be used as a quick detailer, clay lubricant as well as an interior detailer.

Don't feel left out, except for a very few early pre-orders, demand was high and it is mostly delayed into May here. Being the next flavor of the month and current run on rinseless probably overhyped and oversold expectations.

Me too, it was unveiled at SEMA last year, so I'm not sure what the holdup is about.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I tried Mckees N-914 V2. I went a little heavy on the dilution and all I can say is my 1st use was slick as hell.

However my initial test was a bit skewed, not just because of a heavy dilution but also once I started I noticed that my wash mitt must’ve had Hyper Wash residue in it, because I began to create abnormal sudsing in my bucket once I started. Lol. Not to mention I was working at night and I didn’t even dry the car but instead just rinsed it and then foamed it with 8oz. of Armor All Ceramic in the foam cannon and did a quick wash with that which was also incredibly slick.
