McKees 360 turned plastic bumper white
Hi guys,
A friend of mine polished out his Audi A6 this weekend with McKees 360. Car looks great except for the plastic rear bumper. The 360 turned it white. He said he read the directions after the fact and saw that it should only be used on smooth plastic, whereas his plastic is very lightly textured. I tried to clean it up for him with dawn soap and a mild brushing, but the grayness/whiteness doesn't want to go away. He tells me that, prior to polishing, the panel looked fine, so I think that some of the 360 must be difficult to remove due to the pebbled surface of the plastic.
Any ideas on how to remove the 360 from the plastic panel? After that, any suggestions on a plastic trim product/protectant?

You can use a dedicated wax removal product. You may also need to let it dwell for a bit and then agitate it with a soft brush.
(and that is exactly what happened--it got 'trapped' into the textured areas of that panel, it is removable though, it will just take some time/elbow grease to do so)

Wax remover, brush, and a little hard work.
Great reminders NOT to do this again. (Ask me how I know this........). Lol
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Perhaps give the new Blackfire product a go. McKee’s also has their dedicated trim cleaner that does a similar function.

Keep in mind there is a similar Mother's product called Back to Black bumper care, but it's not the same...you want the one that pro 4x has indicated that comes with the brush....it works quite well. After cleaning with this Mother's product I hit the black trim with McKee's Plastic and Trim Restorer...protects it all for a long time.

A good reminder that it's worth taking a few minutes to tape off stuff you don't want the wrong products on.
