Re: 1967 Lincoln Continental Single Stage Paint- Extreme Makeover
Marvelous car, sure it's beaten being original. This will be a Challenging Extreme Makeover, can't wait to see the outcome!
Thanks for sharing,
Kind Regards.

We've also ordered the Dr. Color Chip Road Rash Complete Chip Repair Kit for this car and will be going over how to do rock chip repair using this classic Continental.

Re: 1967 Lincoln Continental Single Stage Paint- Extreme Makeover
Mike, used the Dr. Colorchip this weekend on a clients car, the write up is in show and shine. Took me over and hour to get most of the road rash touched up, and I did it in layers. What I mean by that is that there were so many small chips that I had to do about 50%, then go back and do more until I was down to them all being touched up. My eye could not see all of them as I was working on them.
Anyway, following the instructions, from about 6 feet back, the bumper looks new. I will be ordering more of this in the future, a great way to take care of the chips.

Lots of chips makes it more tedious.... tackling it in layers or waves sounds like a good approach.
