I'm using ultima tire and trim guard on my Avalanhe.

    It has exceeded my expectations.

Lasts longer than anything I have used before and looks great.

I use Meguiar's Ultimate Dash and Exterior Trim Restorer, I don't use anything on my interior trim. The best so far of all the other exterior trim products I have used.

Not 100% sure but I think you can opti coat those.

I remember a thread not too long ago where Mark ended up coating all the plastic trim on his new camaro, or maybe his mustang lol.

Seems like the way to go on a new ride. Coat it once and never have to worry about it again.

That doesn't last much on the outside. But it all depends on how often you like to reapply.

    UTTGP is better.

    UTTG - for great durability
CarPro DLUX - for EXCELLENT durability
OC2.0 - apply and forget about it (IPA/Eraser prior to applying)

    (DLUX will darken the appearance)

Short and to the point. Very useful, thanks!

    so basically:

    UTTG: a few months
DLUX: many months to a year
    OC2.0: permanent

    And what about Opti-Seal?
    From the product description:
Opti-Seal is not a short-cut product. It is a state-of-the-art, stand-alone spray sealant that provides real, durable protection for paint, plastic trim, and wheels. This is a last step product, not a maintenance product. After polishing, apply Opti-Seal and walk away.
