    Dads Jeep needs help

I got my dad's jeep and I want to get it looking its best. I have attached a photo for you to see the scratches I am dealing with and the blue tape is just to allow the camera to focus easier and nothing more. I know I need to 1) Wash it and then 2) Clay it...thats where it get fuzzy.

What can I use to get the shine back in it? The products I have are Wolfgang Swirl Remover and Polish and that is it. Is there something else I should look at doing more agressive or different pads before topping it with Fuzion.

Pad wise I have an LC CCS Orange, White Blue Flat.

    Machine wise I have a flex 3401

    Thanks for looking...

Those scratches don't look too bad. I would try the polish first with the Orange pad and see where that gets you. If you don't think it has enough bite try the Swirl Remover with the orange pad.

    Here's what to do...

Place orange pad on Flex 3401

Place Flex on the 5-6 speed setting

Prime pad and add "working product" like I show here - How to prime a foam pad when using a DA Polisher

Place face of pad on paint before turning it on and don't lift it off till pad stops spinning

Buff a section of paint about 20" squarish or so

Make 6-8 section passes with firm downward pressure - Video: How-To do a "Section Pass" when Machine Polishing with a DA Polisher

    Wipe off residue and inspect.

Chances are very good you're going to see the swirls are removed and clarity is restored.

Use the Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover, it's a medium cut polish and completely capable of tackling the swirls in the paint on that Jeep.
