Best new coating to resist toweling marks?

I'm going to try a coating and wanted to know if any of them are more protective of toweling marks than the other. AG has the Opti-coat and CQuartz products and I am aware of a couple of other products on the market.

Would you please share your experience with the available options, as I hope to take advantage of the Labor Day and Ivan's sales this weekend?

    Thanks!

I havent tried CQ yet but OC is harder than clear and thus less susceptible to towel marring.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed as that was the main reason I applied the coating. I will say that after a couple months it did get better and I found a towel (cant mention here) that wont mar it.

I have put OG on one of my cars that has a very soft SS paint. It has reduced swirls and towling marks by 75%. I am happy with it's properties. I don't think that it is intended to eliminate these types of issues totally but it certainly does make a huge difference IMO.

I agree to a point but it should resist marring from a MF towel if its a hard as its claimed to be.

Hi D!!! How are you? I agree with you as it should resist MF marks and I have found that it does but not 100% I also think it needs 3 months to fully harden(I am not sure of this tho).

Another thing to consider is that it will still maintain some properties of the underlying clear or paint.... Take a piece of tin foil and place it on a hard counter and press on it, then take another piece of foil and put it on your sofa and press.........U know where I am going here?
