    Sealant & waxing question

    Hello,

I just purchased Pinnacle Twins & Meguiars G110v2 Dual Action Polisher Kit, Meguiars Nxt liquid wax and Klasse high gloss sealant. My question is what order do i need to used these products.

Normally, i have done in that order:-

    1) Wash
    2) dry
    3) Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover
    4) Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polisher
    5) ? Meguiars Liquid Nxt wax OR Klasse HGS
    6) ? Meguiars Liquid Nxt wax OR Klasse HGS

    Thanks,

    FK

    Re: Sealant & waxing question

I would put the klasse on first, wait 12 hours then top it but isn't NXT a sealant as well? Never used NXT but I'm sure it's not as durable as KSG. If you are intent on using both, then the most durable product should go down first so it bonds best with the freshly polished paint.

Are you going to wash the car or wipe it down with 10% IPA after polishing to remove any residual polishing oils?

Personally I would just add 2 coats of Klasse for even coverage and skip the NXT. The NXT isn't going to add anything to it and will not last as long as the Klasse. And yes NXT is also a sealant not a wax.

Also not to mention that NXT stains trim and such where the Klasse twins can be put on anything. I'd switch up and skip the NXT and do Klasse AIO then HGSG IMO.

And if I am not mistaken doesnt NXT have cleaners in it as well??? So multiple layers with NXT is pointless...
