Menzerna Product Question(s)
I have Menzerna PO85RD and PO106FA. Is there a specific order they should be used or are they so close in properties that they are basically the same? I've used the 85RD with a Lake Country White pad with terrific results. The specs say Grey, Red or Blue.
Am I overthinking this whole thing? I'm just looking to "maximize the shine".

Re: Menzerna Product Question(s)
The short answer is use 106FA and then 85rd. However, if your paint is already in amazing shape then just use 85RD. That is your finishing polish.
There are different combos but if you are getting good results with 85RD and white on a particular car you could go 85RD with white and then 85RD with grey (search "jeweling")

Re: Menzerna Product Question(s)
The 106 FA has a cut of 2.5, & the 85 RD has a cut of 1.0 If the 85 RD is enough to remove the defects, then you don't need the 106 FA. On the other hand, it is likely that you will eventually come across defects that the 85 RD will not remove, therefore, you will have to use the 106 FA.
The 106 FA may, or may not finish to your liking, (I have never used it, but I have some on order) but the 85 RD will definitely leave an extreme smooth finish.
Therefore, if you are just removing some simple defects, you won't need the 106 FA, just the 85 RD. That means, just one step...Boom...you're done.
