Using a QD to remove dry wax?
I was just wondering if it's okay to spray a QD on top of dry wax to make it easier to remove? I know if the layer of wax is thin that it shouldn't be too hard to come off, but I want to make it as easy as possible to remove to avoid putting lines in my paint. Do you guys think this is okay or will this affect the layer of protection the wax leaves on the car?

Let the wax cure for a day...do a wash and most of it will come of during your wash. Any remaining wax can be taken off with a QD. And no, it should not affect the layer of wax.

Not sure I'm following...........put the wax on the car, leave it on for a day, wash it off, and then remove any remnants with a QD?

What I'm saying is after you finish applying and removing the wax...let it sit a day and then give it a wash. After drying, use a QD for final wipe down and at this time you can get into the nook and crannies to remove the leftover wax. Granted that it's better to get all the wax off on the intial removal, but it's sometimes hard to see while the wax is fresh.

When I have had a stubborn wax that I could not remove all easily, I have used a damp towel or quick detailer. Dont make a habit of it, but certainly works when needed.
