    Just to note...

This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird 440 Sixpack in Limelight Green is owned by my good friend Luc Viet. He's trusted Autogeek with a number of his Mopars over the years for our Competition Ready 3-Day Detailing Classes.

    I couldn't agree more.

This will be the second Superbird I've worked on in my entire life.

The opportunity to buff out the real deal is incredibly rare.

In most cases, the owners of cars like this won't let ANYONE touch them and that's a fact.

So for the guys attending this class, you're in for a real treat.

It's weird now to think that these winged cars like the 70 Superbird, and the 1969 Charger Daytona before it, literally sat unsold at the dealer for years, as they had a hard time selling them.
I remember this too. Some of them sat on used car dealers lots for a loooong time. Of course the were not exactly a daily driver, grocery getter back in the '70s.

Some were converted back by the dealer so they could sell them according to the Graveyard Cars host. Interesting fact about these cars as they all came with vinyl roofs.Plymouth was behind the 8-ball so instead of stamping one complete roof like the Daytona they welded two panels together and hid the welds under the vinyl. Cool cars.

That's Mark Worman and I remember hearing him say that one one of their episodes.

I agree and so far, the coolest car I have scheduled for this class.

I may get one of Luc's other very cool Mopars here for this class but it's not confirmed yet.

Awesome car! I can't wait to see the paint surface once it's been corrected. Luc is a very lucky man to have this Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird in his collection.
