Re: Pressure Washer Question
I wouldn’t recommend what you want to do at home with PW. If your good with your friend maybe leave their and wash twice a month and rinseless.
Like i mentioned in Autopia i’d go 50’ 3/8 inch for better flow. 1/4 will up psi and even after all said and done if you get down to 1000psi will still be good for car washing but maybe better flow.
Matt at obsessed tested and didn’t see a difference between 1/4 and 3/8 on his Ryobi test. All else I have read said different but didn’t offer tests to back up what they said.
The 3/8ths will work better tho if you upgrade in future to a machine with higher psi and more importantly GSM.

I was trying to be funny . Matt had stated many times that he will only sells the best regardless of price. He is uncompromising in that regards and I respect him for that. At one point... he tested over 50 power washers and his experience with this stuff does carry weight.

Yeah i’m not a fan but he is absolutely gaining my respect as he seems to be really brutally honest.
He didn’t have to test PW he didn’t sell and some will say it’s to sell his accessory kits but i doubt he’s selling alot of $150-200 kits for a $200 pw.

Re: Pressure Washer Question
I use a battery powered Sunjoe 6001c to rinse and a pump spray to foam, you would need a 5 gallon bucket to keep some extra water in (this is if u are in the market to purchase another pressure washer). I then empty the pressure washer n pit in a gallon of DI water for final rinse. No need to run long hoses .
